About The Position

We’re looking for a deep learning engineer who is versatile, displays leadership qualities, and is keen to take on new challenges. As part of the Deci AI team, you will gain knowledge and industrial proficiency in a broad spectrum of the most-advanced deep-learning architectures and concepts, while acquiring best practices.

This job requires a thorough understanding of machine and deep learning principles. You will be taking a deep dive into the inner-workings of architectures and tracking the most advanced deep learning techniques and trends including classification, detection, segmentation, text and conversational AI, audio analysis, and recommender systems.


  • B.Sc. degree in computer science or similar technical field
  • 2+ years experience as a machine/deep learning engineer in a production setting
  • Experience working with at least one major framework (TensorFlow/PyTorch), including training and implementing deep learning models
  • Experience implementing advanced ideas from academic papers and turning them into production-grade code
  • Extensive knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and solid software development principles in Python
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills in verbal and written English

Preferred qualifications

  • M.Sc. degree in computer science or a similar technical field
  • Extensive experience deploying deep neural models in production, in cloud settings, or on edge devices
  • Publications in top-tier machine or deep learning venues
  • Original design of deep neural models for complex problems


  • Build the core software elements that drive the Deci optimization engine
  • Develop Deci’s open-source deep learning training platform SuperGradients
  • Work closely with our researchers and product team to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve new neural models over standard and exotic inference accelerators
  • Build custom loss functions, design complex layers, and manipulate tensors
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
