About The Position

Deci is hiring a VP of People to join our incredibly high growth and people-first team. Deci is the world’s most innovative deep learning platform. We are looking for an outstanding leader to support our growth and make Deci feel like the best place in the world to work. In this role, you will be responsible for leading Deci's entire People & Culture function, and serve as a member of the management team to drive HR-related topics across the company.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in HR at fast-moving, high-growth technology companies
  • 3+ years in HR leadership as a Director or VP
  • Proven success supporting an international and remote organization going from 30+ to 100+ employees
  • Positive attitude, passion, and enthusiasm with a people-first approach.
  • Fantastic communication skills - written and verbal, both in Hebrew and English - to gain trust and credibility at all levels of the organization
  • Successful track record in building and managing an HR team.
  • Demonstrated success in working with leadership to drive organizational strategy, design, development, and growth. Capable of leading organizational changes and protecting the company’s culture and core values.
  • Proven track record in talent acquisition and employee retention for high-demand talent profiles.
  • Experience in a variety of HR disciplines across the board including employee relations, development, welfare, compensation, and compliance.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to initiate, build, and manage effective internal and external programs, processes, and procedures in a data-driven manner.
  • Fluency in DEI concepts and strategy. Experience in nurturing a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a rapidly changing startup environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the company’s HR strategy and growth. Be the partner to all leadership and employees and ensure our culture is eco in everything we do.
  • Build and promote a strong and unique culture of excellence to position Deci as the go-to for AI talents. Continue to uphold our values when it comes to diversity, inclusion, and bias-free hiring practices.
  • Build and manage a high-performing HR team to support people operations, including office management.
  • Own the Deci employee experience. Design and implement various initiatives across the employee lifecycle including employee welfare, engagement, personal and career growth, professional development and training, annual compensation review, performance management, and more.
  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process. Ensure every candidate applying to Deci has a great experience from the interview to onboarding and beyond.  
  • Provide management with a data-driven, metrics-based approach to demonstrate success and gaps for the organization in performance, culture, and employee engagement.
  • Act as a strategic partner to management on all people-related topics and issues while safeguarding Deci’s core values.
  • Identify, design, and implement key strategic HR policies and processes. Ensure legal compliance is met in all HR activities.
  • Own the HR budget and manage current and future people-related initiatives and staffing costs.
