About The Position

We are seeking a hard-working, independent, highly-motivated, Sales Development Team Lead, to join our growing Sales team, and play a key role in building and developing Deci’s Sales Development team. In this role, you will recruit, train, and lead our global SDRs team, and work closely with our Sales, Account Executive and Marketing teams to accelerate the growth of the business by generating new opportunities for qualified sales.

The SD Team Lead reports directly to the CRO.


  • Proven work experience (minimum 2.5 years) as an SDR or similar role in a B2B software/SaaS company, with the US and European markets.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls and cold reach-out), and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, SalesLoft).
  • Managerial and mentoring skills.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Dynamic, high energy, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-discipline, focus, and strong time-management skills.
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, and support US business hours.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or AI products.
  • Managerial experience. 
  • Track record in achieving sales quotas.
  • Experience developing and implementing communication plans and cadences, resulting in an effective outbound prospecting practice.


  • Recruit, build, train and manage the global SDR team.
  1. Work closely with the SDRs to make sure they meet their goals.
  2. Hands-on role.

  • Proactively reach out to inbound and outbound leads. 
  • Interact with prospects through direct phone calls, emails, and social media.
  • Work in collaboration with the marketing team on:
  1. Maximizing the potential of the existing leads. 
  2. Planning and executing outbound sales campaigns. 

  • Develop templates for direct outreach and content marketing approaches.
  • Develop and build close long-term relationships with prospects and customers until they convert to qualified opportunities. 
  • Stay informed about new products, services, and other general information of interest to customers.
  • Consistently achieve targets. 
  • Constantly evaluate the team’s KPIs and think of ways to improve and optimize processes.
